Susanna Kloven

Susanna has been making line drawings of flowers since childhood - from simple drawings to bas relief daffodils in clay plaques - flowers have been a constant theme.  In early 2004 she was molding clay into flower shapes at the Northern Clay Center when she discovered the Minnesota School of Botanical Art and found an entirely new way to see flowers and plant life.  After several years of classes she finds the graceful forms and structure still fascinating, and the camaraderie of classes stimulating.

Susanna formally studied Fine Art at the University of Montana in Missoula.  She continued her studies in graduate programs at Towson State College and Ohio State University.
