Not all framers are alike… Understanding their language is the first step in selecting a framer you can trust to handle your artwork correctly and with the care it deserves. We’ll discuss frames, mats, mounting techniques and glazing options, plus ASBA exhibit requirements. Samples of conservation materials and frames will be discussed.

Debra D’Souza lives and works in Wisconsin & Minnesota. She is a certified picture framer with over 25 years experience, with a focus on conservation and preservation practices. She earned a BFA in studio art from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, where she is currently the assistant gallery director. Her framing presentation was very much appreciated at the 2011 national ASBA conference.

Important note: Lyndale Ave is CLOSED just north of the Washburn library.
